i can't say you're wrong. i've just always considered Sonic Youth to be the prime example of the most innovative band. but maybe they aren't. it's all relative really. |

It's ok. They still are. I can't expect them to top their best days, but then again, why would I? They still rock.
Anyway, enough of that argument. |

because im not wrong.
SY are the most innovative band ever, i agree with you there. They are by far my favorite band. Im not saying i hate Rather Ripped, its just not a good SY album. what i do hate though is when people just scoff, instead of expressing their own opinion against mine. |

Yeah it was hard for me to. I was torn between Goo, Daydream Nation, Dirty, and Evol.
But I'm pretty sure Goo is my favorite. edit: Sister is awesome too. Titanium Expose kicks ass. Disappearer, man, that's just a mindblowing track. Do you guys have their DVD? It's pretty cool. Last edited by Effloresce : 12-05-2006 at 11:35 PM. |

The other one is like the album but kinda different for the live show I guess. I like the song both ways though. Love it on the album too. One of my favorite Wilco songs. Top 3. |

Oceansize - Massive Bereavement
From the album Effloresce. http://i16.tinypic.com/43pr7g8.jpg One of the best albums of the decade. It has traces of My Bloody Valentine, Swervedriver, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Massive Attack, and Soundgarden all over the place, and executed brilliantly.
