yeah dallas is pretty cozily situated between Bristol and New York

The four closest NFL cities to Bristol are Boston, Washington, NYC, and Philly, correct? 3 of those are in the NFC East. Obviously Dallas is an outlier, but ESPN over saturates everyone with Cowboy news for a completely different set of reasons.

You don't agree NFC East teams get far more than 1/6th of ESPN's NFL coverage?

Agreed. But we've had that discussion like a hundred times on here, and no one ever disagrees, so...

They are in the biggest football media markets save for Chicago. They should get more coverage - they have the biggest market share.

Chicago, Houston, Miami, and Atlanta all have bigger metro areas than Boston. San Fran/Oakland and Detroit are just behind Boston. Don't the Patriots get much, much more media coverage than any of those franchises?

Admittedly, the Pats continued success has a lot to do with that, but it's not like those five cities I listed (NFC East + Boston) are huge juggernauts compared to Chicago, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, San Fran/Oakland, and Detroit who get far less coverage. Not denying there aren't other factors, but I do think proximity to ESPN factors in.

He's just mad a shitty team deservedly doesn't get attention from anyone else.

Plus what can you even say about shitty teams? Oh they were shit last year and they're shit this year and they'll be shit next year. VERY INTERESTING.
