Red face What's your favorite live version of Shame?

I used to have one, but I forgot it.

Help.

(Expecting at least five candidates from redbull)

I don't particularly like any version of shame. I am guilt free.

I'd like to know his top five, too.

Mine is Brussels.

And the one on the Secret Gig bootleg, 98-06-19 Sydney, although I don't think it's "the best", I just used to listen to it a lot.

2007 by far. One of the better things to come out of SP2.

Bilbao 1998 and it isn't even up for debate...close second is probably the acoustic show in Buenos Aires

its pretty well agreed upon that the 2007 version of shame and gatc were interesting because they both added an uplifting guitar phrase at the end for the jam instead of previous darker guitar meanderings.

big deal. in the grand scope of things its not enough to warrant inclusion.

the 07 versions of glass and the ghost children are god awful. totally ruined the flow and was a definitely low-point of the show I saw

if i can recall the gatc reworking went through some evolutions while on tour, but when it worked it had the same effect as shame. it was an uplifting guitar passage during the "counted the spiders" section

98 bilbao is the best. These are all kick-ass. Thanks friends.

I think 08 GATC from the Euro tour was pretty damn good, much better than the dull-as-dirt 07 version. I never liked that song during SP1, so I didn't mind SP2's experimentation with it.
