This is kind of my attitude. Why go through the work of killing myself if someone or something else is going to get to it eventually, anyway? In the grand scheme of things, even if my life turns out to be not much more than being sad, 75 years of sadness weighed against infinite years of non-being isn't much worse than 30 years of sadness weighed against infinite years of non-being. And hey, maybe on a couple of those days, I'll eat a really good ice-cream cone, see a good movie, or have somebody I like touch my penis willingly. I might not experience those things if I kill myself now.
