on the individual level, yeah, it sucks when people die against their will. but suicide is a decision to harm oneself - if we own our bodies for life, we should be able to own our bodies for death. i'm empathetic to all suicide but i also know that person is no longer suffering; they are space dust. it sucks only for those left behind.
