Default Anybody get the new REM stuff yesterday?

I went to the store to pick them up last night, but they were ridiculously expensive... usually the first week that stuff like that comes out, they're deeply discounted. No such luck - at Circuit City - which is usually way cheap - the 2 CD was $21 and the DVD $20!

I decided to hold off and see if I could find 'em cheaper elsewhere, but I don't think that's going to be the case, as they're not in any of the big box ads - no target, no best buy, etc...

At any rate - so did anybody fork it out and get them yet? I think I'm going to, but my cheapskate intution told me to hold back last night.

It was in the Best Buy ad here, but I forget at what price. They had 'exclusive downloads', too. But, I have no money, so I haven't picked it up yet.

Same here. I'll get it this weekend after my paycheck is in the bank.

it may be discounted but not labelled as such. Best Buy had the 2cd labelled as $23 but it actually cost $15.

So odd! Maybe they just missed the Utah ads print deadlines or something and as a result, they didn't get in there. Because when I look at the California ads for Best Buy, it is indeed in there... gah! Maybe I'll just go over there and see if it is cheap or not...

No, I didn't end up going to Best Buy - I was at a little indie store last night up in Salt Lake and got it there - $16.99 for the 2CD and the same for the DVD. I figured that would beat Best Buy, and I got to support a store that I love... so it was a win-win.

Haven't watched/listened yet, though.
