What did you record the files with and at which bit rate?
Audition automatically saves all files at 32 bits per default - no matter what their real bit rate is. You can change that in the settings. And you can just ignore the warning about the format type 1 that you get while encoding to FLAC. I get that warning every time with bit rates > 16 bits... |

Also I was thinking depending what program he's using for playback, it could be causing the sound to skip.

Keep working at it Id like to hear how it sounds.
I Might be able to run some filters on it in SoundTrack Pro if nobody else tweaks it. |

ok, after desoldering and replcing 5 capacitors on my motherboard, i am fully functional once again. i think i solved the problem with the flace so idealy i will have a 24-bit and 16 bit version up for download within 72 hours. anyone have a preference to where? i know some people hate zomb and the like. public tracker like mininova or archive.org? does archive.org allow 2 flac versions on the same entry?

i wanted to hop on and thank bobbin for recording this. my girlfriend's absolutely in love with sp and as a result of assholes in the front pushing her around and squishing her, she had to leave and actually had a panic attack. so she had to miss a bit of the show to go sign some papers and shit.
this will make a nice addition to her birthday on oct. 15th! thank you! looking forward to an edited version of this as well! keep up the good work. Last edited by treva_adore : 10-11-2007 at 01:55 PM. Reason: preventing double post |

Ran a couple filter on these tracks in Soundtrack. Removed the Boomyness and bumped the vocal/midrange. There is some distortion thats not removable but it sounds pretty good. If anything its light on bass now.
The folder of aifs is about 1.3GB, The folder of 256kbs m4a's is about 250mb. Sample available here. http://www.sendspace.com/file/nh7y4o |
