The fact that John Leso is still licensed to practice is just beyond. When this first came out, he should have been ostracized and his license immediately suspended upon review. He's broken the ethical code of conduct with the APA and should be ousted.

At this point it doesn't appear that the Obama is sanctioning anything like what went on under Bush/Cheney. The only reason GITMO is still open and Iraq is a disaster is because of the Bush administration. Likewise, the Clinton administration didn't resort to the level of lies and violence that his predecessor did either.

The reason that people were tortured is almost solely because of republican elected and appointed officials. Just listen to recent comments by Cheney and you can see that the people in charge at the time had no moral or ethical problem with it. Even the Senate committee charged with oversight was lied to by the CIA and the Bush admin.

At this point if you are going to blame anything on Obama, wait to see whether his administration pushes for prosecutions of anybody involved. It's very likely that they won't. That would be on him.
