I just finished watching this documentary and I had no idea Billy was not only featured as one of the celebrity fans but he was the first 'outsider' the real author confided in regarding the whole fake set up. Billy was surprisingly pretty decent to her too considering. The real author and her husband were troo fans too - there's a funny scene where a taped tel convo between her husband and Billy is played were the husband is grilling Billy about which pedals or whatever he used in Snail specifically and Billy is uhhhhh I don't remember? Oh and naturally Courtney's in it and when the shit hits the fan and the real author is exposed there's a taped convo of Courtney just before urging her to cry on Oprah for redemption says hold a sec you don't mind me doing this line of coke I have here right?

Has anyone else watched this? It came out in 2016

I watched it last night and was also really surprised. At the same time it makes total sense that he would be involved with and would defend a nut like that.

Just watched this. Wow Billy was way to involved in this. I also bet him and everyone else is extremely pissed all their conversations with her were recorded and are now public. I"m certain they did not get permission for these, the recordings were probably done in states that don't need both parties consent.

Billy calling himself the Corganator is one of the greatest things I have ever heard.

Oh and uber nerd moment when I got pissed because they are showing bootleg footage of Zwan but it's not the show they are talking about.

Corgmeister is during the opening credits.

The big Billy section with the Zwan footage starts at around an hour and 3 minutes in.

Another section where she talks about "being on the set with Billy." an hour thirty in. An hour thirty-eight, Courtney snorting coke and giving her advice about how to positively spin the story. Same minute Billy gives her the advice "You can't stand up in a tsunami."

I was right they didn't know it was all recorded and don't want to be in this. I don't think any of the celebrities do current interviews. It's all old recordings. I'd love to know how they got the Zwan footage, did they just fair use it?

Yeah her husband is a huge fan and they play a phone conversation with him and Bofo. It's one of the most cringe inducing fan moments I have ever heard. The guy keeps asking him about pedals and you can hear Corgmeister is thinking how the fuck did this guy get on the phone with me. The guy keeps at it though kissing his ass and asking technical questions that Bongo has long forgotten.

I wonder what Corgy thought he would get out of this relationship. I don't get the impression that he liked any of these people. I think he either felt sorry for her or wanted front row seats for the train wreck.
