So Ed Kowalczyk is not the singer for Live anymore
The same thing that happened with STP happened with Live. Live were pretty good as far as post grunge goes. Kowalczyk always was an impressive vocalist. And they had some interesting songs early on in their career.

I was happy to hear the original lineup at a show in New Hampshire before it changed. Quote:

I've listened to that album by The Gracious Few occasionally over the past year or so. It's fine...nothing too ear catching.
How's Ed Kowalczyk's solo stuff? |

Some of the songs on 'Secret Samadhi' sound very Gish-esque

The Ed Kowalczycdkskzkdick story is one of the more entertaining ones I think. He asked for a 'lead singer bonus' without having the others know.
Lead Singer Bonus is the name of my new band. |

I alone is alright though. It's one of my Kareoke cuts I always go to lol. I rock all the 90's shit at Kareoke: Crackers Low, I alone, Better than Ezras good, Several Bush songs ETC. Easy to sing and sound good when you're drunk. |

Seems like Ed Kowalczyk and Chad Taylor, Live's guitarist, were doing an interview together this week and it seems like Live are back together with the original line-up.
25th anniversary of Live is Dec 31, so they might do something at the end of the year |

I retract my above statement. I was bored on a Thursday night off earlier in the year with nothing to do and Ed was with his new guitarist performing Throwing Copper in it's entirety at the casino nearby. So I decided to go down and do some gambling and buy a ticket for the helluv it and I ended up drinking with some blogger and he had an extra 3rd row center ticket and gave it to me so I ended up selling the ticket I just bought to some other dude going in and essentially went for free.
It was a pretty lame crowd and I think the small theater was only about 3'4ths full but the lead singer put on a pretty good show with the visuals and everything and it was actually a pretty good time. After the show he was very approachable taking pictures with everyone and I got him to sign my ticket stub. I'd never check him out under any normal circumstances, but during a Thursday with absolutely nothing going on within an hour radius it was pretty legit |

I think at that time in 2014 on Netphoria I was trying too hard to act like I wasn't some grunge-tard who unequivocally loved that era cause everyone was always roasting me left and right, but the truth is that I guess I kinda am.
