He (and Sugar Ray) reside in the "one hit wonder" category on this side of the Atlantic, alongside the likes of Crazytown.

Sugar Ray and the likes just encapsulated the severe wrong turn US rock went in the late 90s - everything Kurt Cobain was against.

Well said. Corporate bands like that coincided with the Clear Channel radio takeover in the late 90ís when everything became homogenized and focus grouped to death which has persisted to this day.

which side of the atlantic are you talking about cause they definitely were not a "one hit wonder." they have at least several big songs and were popular for a number of years
