Who knows? Maybe the song will be cool.

I can pretty much guarantee that the video will suck though

There were times were you could spend $1.000.000 for a "Tonight Tonight" video at Hollywood.

With the decline of the record sales you have to find partners to earn $1.000.000 otherwise...

Old news! Here's the mime, in his identity crisis:

Cool guitar riff, Billy!

Billy, the Rocker!

Billy rockin' with legends like Elvis. What a comeback, 1968 in 2018...

Pretty full on day, with Howard picking at random which of the 26 STAR category songs to dive into. SOLARA was first, which went from a typical 90’s-type rocker to something that felt like it belonged.

Now what?” I said out loud. Back through the COUGARS we fell. I circled round ‘SOLARA.’ “Too grunge though,” I offered, a negative buzzword in these parts. “Better if it was straight, or more psych.” Singing the melody I came up with an opening figure reminiscent of ‘Heaven and Hell’ Sabbath (Go Tony). Sketched out a basic 2-part guitar demo, and with some digi-magik made the beat that made it a rocka-rolla (Go Priest). Funny what a riff can do to a spine. So ‘SOLARA’ is back with the STARS.

So, work: SOLARA was the hammer, and I was the sickle. And leaping into the deep waters of what is a no-brainer, gimme of a grunge song we cast off it's shell and went for the sun-worshipper who, in standing beneath the sun, feels awe, or boredom, or both; his thirst for travel unbound, he'd like to see the stars or, better yet, know them. Not sure if I'll get what I'm looking for here, or just have to write a new one, but the riff's minor to major universal magnetism is worth mining out.

Only a million and One miles to go…

Today's work is to tackle SOLARA, once and for all; strumming downward on the mystical, pyramidic D.

SOLARA is back, just to prove it could. But TOODLE-LOO was a flameout, modern, anthemic, one-hook chorus aside. (insert Howard frown)

Man who wrote Zero is resorting to using 4 year old song as the lead single that wasn’t even a b-side on the shittiest album he ever made. Yeah this reunion is going great

I once believed that when a song is COUGARED it shall forever remain COUGARED. Placed within a box marked "never open", wrapped in chains - I thought the sun had forever set on SOLARA.

For hadn't Howard himself shook his head and said no at it's unrelenting "grunginess". And though we had endeavoured to bring out the psyche and spike and - what I've learned to call - the vernacitude of the song; it's roots had grown too long and it always, no matter how much we chopped it down, it always grew back the same way - SOLARA.

But I've never been one to read signs - a box marked "never open" reads as invitation to a soul such as mine. Now the sun rises once more, and with it realization - I've never written a bad song , only ones that I - or the world - was not yet ready to hear. Drawn out of the box and into the sunlight I am SOLARA once more. In cottons and in flannels and in the crying angst and frustration of "grunge" once more, I hide no more. To quote a brilliant, brilliant poet and artist I tell the world "TAKE ME AS I AM". Take me as I am.

Alright, based on this, I'm guessing at least half of the new music will be recycled/repurposed music from Day 4 Night.

Unless he renamed the new songs, Solara is the only old song.

I don't find that to be too troublesome. Obviously some of the songs from Day For Night would end up being used when he got back together with Chamberlin to record. Judging by the descriptions, Solara sounds like one of the better songs from the sessions. It's about time we got some grunge sounding Pumpkins again. Hopefully he sings with a little rasp and intensity this time out and it's not another "Doomsday Clock".

lol Billy's Spotify playlist is the lamest thing ever. And he wonders why the youth of today don't respond to him, there's not one song on there that has been released inside the last 40 years

I think he tried that with One and All and, well, it didn't quite work, did it?

Yeah it's bad but not just because they are old songs. They are old, random songs that aren't really that good.
