One (actual) issue hindering Sanders was that you had to be a registered democrat in advance in certain states meaning those disenfranchised who wanted to support the movement were locked out of the vote. Not a conspiracy, not a fraud, pre-existing rules.

The rules may have been set up to keep outsiders out but they are still the rules.

There's a similar issue with The Labour Party in the UK

There seems to an urge in to cry foul at democratic processes in the west at the moment (see people's thoughts on the Brexit result), it's a dangerous game, it cheapens what we have.

Do you believe the Bush's stole the 2000 election, or not?

This is accurate and closer to what actually happens on the ground floor in one aspect of voter suppression. DNC operatives are in charge of handing out the ballots and in some cases if you misstated or weren't specific enough in your request for a ballot, you didn't get the correct one. Also, a half-million people signed up for the wrong Independant party, one that was not allowed to vote in the Dem primary in California.

California Calls Fraud: Demands DNC Investigation

“This is the perfect symbolic ending to the Democratic Party primary: The nomination is consecrated by a media organization, on a day when nobody voted, based on secret discussions with anonymous establishment insiders and donors whose identities the media organization—incredibly—conceals,” wrote Glenn Greenwald for The Intercept. “The decisive edifice of super delegates is itself anti-democratic and inherently corrupt: designed to prevent actual voters from making choices that the party establishment dislikes. But for a party run by insiders and funded by corporate interests, it’s only fitting that its nomination process ends with such an ignominious, awkward, and undemocratic sputter.”

Here's another ground floor aspect of what goes on with registration. This California DNC operative is in Nevada violating a few election laws. Considering the lawlessness of their leader, no surprise at all her supporters follow suit and skirt the law as well.

Bush didn;t steal the lection. why do you always mis use words purposely and then double down over and over that you are using them right. just learn to use them the right way. stealing an election, rigging an election these things mean specific things. it doesnt mean any structural attempt to tip the scales or insiders standing up for insiders or total nonsense bullshit and a fucked up clause from the US constittuion which is what happened with bush

The decision was delayed a month and you're implying there were no shenanigans by anyone on the recounts, but especially the biggest criminal family in American history, the Bush's? Must be nice to be that naive.

Under orders from Governor Jeb Bush (Bush Jr.’s brother), state troopers near polling sites delayed people for hours while searching their cars. Some precincts required two photo IDs which many citizens do not have. The requirement under Florida law was only one photo ID. Passed just before the election, this law itself posed a special difficulty for low-income or elderly voters who did not have drivers licenses or other photo IDs. Uncounted ballot boxes went missing or were found in unexplained places or were never collected from certain African-American precincts. During the recount, GOP agitators shipped in from Washington D.C. by the Republican national leadership stormed the Dale County Canvassing Board, punched and kicked one of the officials, shouted and banged on their office doors, and generally created a climate of intimidation that caused the board to abandon its recount and accept the dubious pro-Bush tally.

I mean, what kind of Socialist are you? These are your counterparts, not mine, why don't you take them to task for believing such nonsense as a stolen election.

Whether you like TOC or not, there's no arguing that the man knows his politics.

Clintons a fraud.

Has there ever been a presidential favorite in the midst of an election who hasn't given a press conference in this long? She's fucked up and her handlers won't take a chance at having her say anything that isn't pre-scripted.

I can understand the distaste for Trump, but Hillary Clintons logically one of the weakest candidates... It's so obvious to any onlooker that she's the United States governments "chosen one" for the next president.

I hope Trump tears her to pieces during the debates.

What's the deal with everyone in the media and people like you who just refer to her as "Hillary"?

Do you think of her as Madonna or Beyonce or something?

Let's just simply refer to the president as Barrack or the previous president as simply George... "Gee, how about that George? George really seems like the kinda guy you can have a beer with".

Give your head a shake Elph.

Well fuzzy,

Hillary Clinton has been the only serious female contender for President. Because of this, there is not a litany of Johns and Georges and FemaleNames before her to have to separate her from. Women are also generally seen as more personal communicators. She has additionally been the first lady, where she often used her first name in speaking engagements. People also call Donald Trump "Donald" or "The Donald." People also refer to Bernie Sanders as Bernie. Notice, not a lot of past contenders with uber-jewish names like Bernie to separate Bernie Sanders from. Names themselves, when unique, can be novelties and increase marketing presence.

Sincerely,
Everybody

Old grumpy hag Hillary Clinton.

God help America.

Can't you guys get some youth involved in your politics?

Jeeze, everyone fawning over some irritating 70 year old woman who's always collapsing and ill... Should be a real strong leader

But honestly, if America actually had a youthful, charming candidate run for election: they'd win in a landslide... He'/She'd get all the reality TV like coverage and be a cultural phenomenon... Previous political track record be damned.

Donald Trumps not even all that likeable to most people but he has that star-quality and everyone eats it up.

I'm half joking of course.

But honestly, your top 2 people running have polled as the most un-likable candidates in the history of the Country. I mean, is this the best you guys can shove out there to represent your country?

Of course it's all rigged and a shit show, so the public doesn't have a choice. I think the whole Democratic primary was a glaring example of that to even the most unintelligent of folks... The Republicans had like what, 18 major candidates running? The Democrats only mustered up 3... Clinton and the other front-runner was a socialist... Yeah... Like they figured he had a chance. Total democracy.

the GOP running 18 candidates is a sign of a party in absolute shambles, not "democracy"

I know this causes your brain to short circuit to even think about, but Clinton is very popular and not many Democrats would want to run against her because she has a huge coalition of support she has been working on for decades and most of us have been saying if she runs she wins for over ten years

There you go. I was gonna mention Obama... But I'm even suggesting a more sensational, charismatic, model looking person. America would go APE SHIT!

But I mean, we're talking about Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump here.. Definitely a total shit show either way you wanna think about it. But I'd personally like the old guard ousted and exposed, so Trumps my man.

What planet are you living on? Her political record is a shit-show and she she's got several scandal's taking place simultaneously. There has never been a major presidential candidate with as low approval ratings pre-2016 than her.

She's extremely unpopular and quite honestly a shit candidate. She's just lucky that her media machines convinced a large majority of the world's population that Donald Trump is the second coming of Hitler or else she'd be right fucked with out a hope in hell of winning...

the only thing I can possibly think you mean is "white" because otherwise we already did that, his name was Barack Obama, he swept America off its feet and won in a landslide and has been president for the last 7.5 years. He is probably going to exit the office as one of the most popular outgoing presidents in the last 100 years.
