Default Thru The Eyes Of Ruby

A while back I heard a version of Ruby where the piano was the lead instrument. I blew my mind, and I've got to hear it again, but I can't find it.

Can anybody supply me with clues?

Thanks.

Sorry about the -Deleted-s but I was forced to reply five times before I could post a thread and I did not have a considered opinion on those threads I looked at. For example in the Iha thread, I could have said that James was a great guitarist, but that seems to be more anodyne than -Deleted-.

Anyway if someone does have any ideas, I would be very grateful to receive them.

are you sure it was billy corgan or the smashing pumpkins? or is possible someone else recorded a cover on piano?

another option: any of the adore tour performances. they have an intro on piano. and possibly some mike garson piano throughout. but that's not really the lead instrument.

It's not those two, although I think it comes from the Adore era. And I'm pretty sure it was a show in Washington.

Does Rudy need an appreciation thread? Is this what our fandom has become?

Listening to 1996-05-15 Ruby right now

It's kickass...it sounds so good.

Usually I just listen to it while drumming to it, I don't actually just sit down and experience it like I am now
