She did, once, for a second. I think it was an episode about hidden talent, NATCH.

maybe i will get stoned every afternoon or evening for a couple of months and work through the recommendations. give them a rating to the 1000th percentile.

yeah i was thinking it was nice that the supreme soviet let something like this get made. i would have thought they would want something to help instill soviet morals & ethics in children but this is really innocent and sweet

maybe the creators of it made some kind of ridiculous assertions of the underlying soviet themes or i guess it is still a russian fairy tale so it works as preserving peasant folk tales which is very lovely really

i need to buy skyrim.

also i guess i kind of get what you're talking about re: planet earth, but i think fake is too strong. it's just really hi-def, but that kind of makes watching it stoned even better.

Yeah, poor word choice.

I think we both just got into completely different frames of mind. He would get lost in how amazing everything looked and the ~wonders~ of the world, and I would have a stupid thought (Like, "Wouldn't it be funny if that was just a dude in a Polar Bear costume?") that would distract me until it actually seemed believable.

in the mountain episode i spent about five minutes wondering if the one human dude they filmed climbing a mountain was hired to do it for the episode, or they just filmed him like every other animal and just waited for him to show up and then started following him with a camera.

it blows my mind how good soviet cinema was. why did they let tarkovsky make those films? i'm not an expert, but it seems to me that no-one has been caring about russian films since the revolution, whereas many soviet ones are regarded as international classics

and yea freddy, that weird winnie pooh is def on the list
