Palmer traveled from Grand Rapids to catch the show, held Saturday, June 27, in Veterans Memorial Park, the second of two concerts held in conjunction with the 28th annual Bay City River Roar. It wasn't nearly as far as Palmer has traveled before to see the band -- she's also seen them in San Francisco and while traveling on a Caribbean cruise.
She's been listening since their debut album, "Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid," was released in 1994.
