It's funny, after poking around on the interwebs some more, I started seeing these 256 GB SD cards. And for some reason, they are pretty inexpensive.

Like, I see some 100 GB ones that are hundreds of dollars, and then some 256 GB ones tat are $80-$100?

I just checked, and my phone supports an SD card with a maximum capacity of 64 GB.

I don't quite understand why there would be an upper limit. I mean, it's probably a technical reason beyond my understanding. But I'm sure a computer could work just fine with a 240923 TB external hard drive if it were hooked up to one.

I checked again, and my phone actually does support 256 GB SD cards. I was looking at the wrong year's model (there's a 2014, a 2016, and a 2017 Samsung Galaxy A5 model... you'd think they'd just give the phones different names).

Pulled the trigger on a 256 GB card. I guess I'll be a phone listener from now on. It'll feel weird, since I've been using an iPod for the past decade, but maybe I'll get used to it.
