What's wrong with it that wasn't wrong about Talledega or Anchorman?

I dunno, I was laughing at the clips that I saw. Seems to be pretty much the same movie as the other two, just with basketball. I don't see what's wrong with that.

and yeah the Old Spice commercials are pretty special. The one about "yesterfar" and cavemen...probably the best.

rom what i've heard about people who have seen it, all of the funny comes from people staying in character, and that the jokes and scenes themselves are not funny

I saw it tonight. Its pretty funny. It's much better than Blades of Glory and Taladega Nights. It's not quite as good as Anchorman.

The supporting cast play it pretty straight. Most of the humor really comes from Ferrell. He really carries this one. He plays the usual narcissistic type he played in Anchorman and Blades of Glory.

the main thing setting Anchorman apart from the rest of Ferrel's work is the jazz flute bit and HEY AQUALUNG!

I didn't look anything quite like Domino so I don't know if "unwatchable" is the word I'd use.

Of course the last two movies sppunk has seen was Atonement and the Queen so I'm pretty sure he's weirded out by movies if he's not completely bored.
