I can't believe you've still yet to inform us of what's playing on those iPod headphones you care so much about music through.

All original presses in US prices

Witch Trials - $25
Dragnet - $45
Totale's Turns - $18
Grotesque - $35
Slates - $25

I could go on. How much did you pay for that reissue of Transformer? The one where you can buy an original copy every other day for less than $10?

Dragnet is $50 plus shipping considering I can't find it at the record store

And that's like their second most popular recording

$18 for the Transformer repress which sure you can pay for a busted up copy for $10 but I don't care about the original pressing of Lou Reed's most popular album

Prices quoted were for mint OG pressings online. Prices will be lower if/when you find them in the wild.

My mint hot stamper press of Transformer cost me 7.99, but Lou Reed isn't terribly collectable. Sure, I've seen lots of shit copies, but pretty much every record store has at least two copies in constant rotation. As you said, it was his most popular album.

Why would care if it's beat? You're only using it for wall art.

Which reissue of Transformer did you choose? Some are shit and some actually improve the record.

Hope that's not an outside wall because records left in the shrink for too long will eventually warp, especially if they're near an outside wall.

these specifically were repressing purchases because I knew they were going on my wall like posters basically for which I would have payed the same amount

and then when I take them down and switch them for something else I can unwrap them and play them light them on fire whatever

Put back two reissues and buy one original copy. Be more post-punk. It actually came from wherever-the-fall-are-from and that one guy probably touched it.

Love that Liars record, Aeris.

What are those gold spines in between Lady Gaga and Marissa Nadler?

yeah you see I'm not that much into having things just to have them I enjoy the process of buying a record it gets me out of the house

I like the utility of what I did buy

I did look for original pressing of Fall records they did not have anything by them whatsoever

This is the part where you get dogged about six finger satellite. What's the story of you buying that record? Cocaine?

I"m not hating I had a 7" of theirs.

even trying to figure out whether you have an original of Marquee Moon is difficult apparently even if you spent a lot of money

This is my new hobby at 3am

no it isn't. there are websites dedicated to have the runout grooves, matrixes, serial numbers, spine information, etc all cataloged to differentiate the pressings.
