ever since being perverted by that meaning from the placebo song of the same name, at the tender age of 11, i've come to instantly assume any other rock songs with a similar lyric is referring to the same thing

Dorian's cool. I've heard it a lot and it's one of my favorites on MTAE. It's weird the lyrics are so repetitive, but that's why it got stuck in me head. And that's a good thing. The vocals are good. Neat music.

How can a song with so little going on past the first 15 seconds have a thread this long? There isn't anything to discuss. Dorian Dorian Dorian dorian dorian dorian dorian
Don't get me started on the setting sun lyric. How could anyone write that and be satisfied with it |

You aren't listening then. You are blind to its excellence, but it's ok. You have a reputation to maintain.

It's not a bad song, musically it's pretty interesting. The repetition of the lyrics didn't bother me as much on this one at first but after a while it's starting to grate on me. It's still a decent song though.

At least the repetition keeps the cringe factor down. This and Tiberius I can really get into.

After careful consideration, I am bumping this thread
Because this song is fucking gorgeous. Somehow the wallpapering of empty repetition in the lyrics allows me to let bill loose of this one. Or the lyrics are inoffensive such that I can shut down my reaction to hearing bill's rough old voice, or trying to give shits re what bill could possibly be saying/feeling (or how he's trying to entertain me) And I just hear cumcastles. Of glittering synth heavens and slowly swooning lil stabs of fuzz guitar that dissolve n ooze downward. Sly slithering arpeggios trading high fives before going up stairs or down stairs |

Great song, could have been a lot better with deeper lyrics but hey, it's still a really nice listen
