i just want to remind everyone that the user in question regularly uses all kinds of websites, including slack, that are specifically blacklisted by the great firewall. my dude is already flouting the law during his time as a tourist in mainland china. he is obviously using an encrypted VPN to circumvent the firewall and none of these messages are being intercepted by the chinese government in any useful way.
