when you say 'dope' do you mean manson injected dope onstage & had the crowd sing the songs for him?

i watched a video or two of queen with lambert a few years ago and remember thinking he was really embarrassing just based on the way he looked. he wore all this weird fetish leather shit and had some extravagant haircut and was squealing into the mic

No one else can sing Queen songs without an aid. Maybe even a few.

Puddle of Mud, not sure I would call them nu metal though. I always dubbed that bland 2000's classic rock Shit Rock. You know Creed, Nickelback...

I saw Puddle of Mudd at a festival many years back. To this day, one of the shittiest live acts I've experienced, made worse by the fact that the singer was a complete and utter drunk buffoon who couldn't even sing his shitty songs as is.

I'd pay if only to say I saw him at least once before he died. Scott Weiland came here a few years before he crashed and burned and tix were only 15 bucks. I still kick myself for not going. Word has it he was rocking a theremin throughout the show. A fucking theremin! I could've witnessed that shit!

Alcoholism is no joke, and Wes Scantlin appears to be approaching bottom

His band has actually abandoned him onstage before

I've always wondered why Nickleback became everyones go to shitty 2000's band, I'm always like did we all forget Puddle of Mudd.

Nickelback committed the crime of reaching complete ubiquity. Puddle of Chud kinda stayed in their corner.

One of my good friends in high school loved that Puddle Of Mud song "she fucking hates me". He was all about it, and would always bring a burnt CD along to party with that fucking song on it. It was like his summer anthem. We didn't mind cause he always jacked bottles of wine from his parents massive wine cellar (one big-ass bottle for each of us). They never did seem to mind or notice. Guy was a total douchebag though... Would pelt people in the head with eggs from cars for no reason and shit.

Even as a grunge fan I thought that shit sounded super dated by that point. Come to think of it, I had another good friend who loved the song Blurry as well.... I can't believe I knew several people who literally liked that piece of shit band

Oops, what a casual music fan I am. I meant to say "Puddle of Mudd" The 2 "d's" make it edgy... Get it, double d's?

Like Corgan, his voice is kinda shot and shit. But the band performed tightly, and he puts on a spectacle. It was at a nice cozy venue too, so it was fun to see. Come to think about it, this might be like 7 years ago now or some shit...and I haven't watched anything since, but he's generally at least entertaining.

That She Hates Me song was a ripoff of a much better Suicidal Tendencies song

My favorite nickelback thing to remember is one time I saw an interview clip of Chas Krogger when they were all ascendant and momentous and the lady was asking "how come the secret yalls all the rage success wow" and he looks right in the camera and goes

It's simple: we're just four guys who are just gonna come out there and just play as hard as we can

Whenever I'm musically frustrated and can't think of a middle 8 or failing at lyrics etc, I try to remember that astonishing bit of generous wisdom and just drop everything and just play as hard as I can
