Default Hum - Inlet (Released June 23, 2020)

HUM
41 mins · Shared with Public

Hum is happy to announce the release of our new album, Inlet. Vinyl (180g double LP), CD, and shirt bundles are available for immediate pre-order via polyvinylrecords.com/store/hum_inlet, with all pre-orders including a free digital download.

The record is also available for consumption at http://humband.bandcamp.com and will ripple out to all digital platforms within the week.

Vinyl manufacturing has been delayed a bit due to Covid. We are hoping we can ship late Summer. We’ll keep you posted. The band is extremely thankful for the kindness we have received over the years, and we hope everybody is healthy and well!

Dude, Desert Rambler kills.

Also, there's something about the last two minutes of In The Den that are so unflinchingly cool. Reminds me of Kinski playing the same riff for 6 minutes straight.

This albums is very, very, very fucking good. No, it's not DIH, but it's still incredible.

Wish it wouldn't have taken so long, but it really is great. Billy should take some cues from these guys.

No, they made an album that was completely true to the band but at the same time was not a copy of anything they had made before, plus they actually produced it well. Billy should just have Matt Talbott and Tim Lash produce Shiny 2.

Their sound absolutely did not change, which is perfect for me because I can't seem to get enough of it. It's a bit startling how identical Inlet sounds to DIH and Astronaut considering they came out over 20 years ago. But I love it, since I love those albums and now I finally have new content that immediately fits right in.
