yeah badges are bullshit is like,,, the lyrics were so wordy when my brother wrote it that i just can't memorize and say it as fast as the song needs, so i just ended up saying the same few lines over and over.

but yeah, i appreciate it

i think my current favorites to sing are "No Fun", "Cop Guts in My Cup", and "Jesus Supports Capitalism". The latter was working-titled "Consume" but it sounded way too one-word-title-angry-metal and we are trying to annoy people not be super serial like all the dudes who were in the audience.

i would would like it more if the lyrics/vocals were way wordier and more literate. from what i've seen/heard, the music is a perfect backdrop for you to shove information down the listeners throats

sort of like the Fall, but coming from a different perspective.

i mean you've got this gigantic bookshelf and it's no secret you read a lot - why not start avalanching all of that information semi-stream-of-conscioius- style?

cause it would probably make one sound like a twat.

But its my own bias (not against D, against that sort of thing)

P.S. I am currently working on some lyrics partly inspired by Barthelme's "The Dead Father" but yeah I get what you're saying.

this is a sort of half done thing before vocals, drums and some guitar noise go in for fun cover of mogwai. i've been recording a drone shoegazey ambient noisey sort of dark record for the past 2 years.
