FF is sometimes awful as it made me sit through that entire clusterfuck of a game.

Who controls the British Crown?
Who keeps the metric system down?
We do, we do.
Who keeps Atlantis off the maps?
Who keeps the Martians under wraps?
We do, we do.
Who holds back the electric car?
Who makes Steve Guttenberg a star?
We do, we do.
Who robs cave fish of their sight?
Who rigs every Oscar night?
We do, we do!

only explanation for why Dilfer is on TV

Cannot wait for Philadelphia @ Atlanta SNF next week.

It's going to be hilarious on national TV when that stadium is filled with people cheering for Vick.

Took Matt Ryan as my fantasy qb. He laid an egg game 1.... and the way their team looked he could get wrecked by the eagles secondary

I'd trade everything you have for Michael Turner though.

I find his commentary inane and his appearance grotesque. It looks like somebody turned the heat on high at the Sportscenter wax museum. Dude has looked bizarre for a while but last night was the worst I've ever seen him look. lol if he really is jacked up because he got drilled with a football.

Eye Incident
Stuart was injured on April 3, 2002[3] in New York Jets mini-camp when he was doing a special for ESPN. Towards the end of a day at camp, Stuart was hit in the eye by a football thrown from a football throwing machine. He underwent surgery that night and was out of work for a few months, and has a ptosis, or dropping eyelid, because of this accident.
-wikipedia

it looks like more than a dropping eyelid to me though

SportsCenter's unwatchable and has been for a while; Stuart Scott's only one small reason for that.

and usually i object to sppunk's rampaging hyperbole but this time he's actually understating

ESPN isn't just unwatchable it's visually and audibly offensive to taste, sense, and humor.

if it had an odor it would be intolerable

The world wide leader hate is soooooooo 2008

it's not like any of the deadspin (type) folks wouldn't sell their backwards capped souls for a shot to whore themselves out to bristol.

They're just mad that you only get paid for terrible journalism if you played in the pros or at least were very good at division.

honestly i don't really pay attention to sporting media. sbnation is huffpo for sports and i'd rather read about politics, culture, and society at this point in my life so i don't look for a sports blog that caters to my specific desire. Which is to enjoy sports news without preachy human interest stories, smug wanna be jock attitude or people pretending to be bill simmons.

and most importantly, a world without bill plashke

following that, we take an inside look at Lebron James/Notre Dame/Yankees v. Red Sox/Tom Brady
and then we get Skip Bayless and our random minority hack writer to debate if the media (i.e. us) over hype LeBron James/Notre Dame/Yankees v. Red Sox/Tom Brady

also to your left is a ticker for our upcoming topics and below me is a ticker for scores nobody ever pays much attention to and during draft week it's a whole bunch of stuff about when people pick in the draft and their returning starters and etc but you know that's infotainment baby

that's not what it is. it's a sports blog that posts athlete's dicks when they come to it. it's a blog. if you read it as a blog it's fine.
