I listened to it last night before I went to bed and liked it quite a lot. Sounds a bit different for them, a bit classic rock-ish at many points. Not in a bad way at all though.

it's good; been listening to it a lot this week. i don't think the plot or characterisation quite cut it, and the decemberists formula is getting a little long in the tooth despite the metal-slash-classic-rock upgrade pack. still, plenty of p coll moments
