Not sure of the source but its being reported over at drownedinsound that tickets are going to be £37.50 + booking fee's. Maybe not all bad news. May put off a few casual buyers.

higher ticket prices normally reduce touting as people have limits. a £40 ticket reduces touting profits

£40 is a shocking amount of money for a single gig. I'm trying to justify it to myself that they'll at least play for twice as long as most bands. Also, note how drownedinsound.com are saying 9am instead of 9.30am.

It's the same price as for the other club shows on this tour, so it's exactly what I was expecting.

Anything we don't already know in the email? Does it confirm ticket prices?

that's right, teenage MCR fans should not be able to afford a pumpkins show. this is grown-up, working man's business

TBH, Im quite happy about the price, it'll discourage alot of teens and touts, so theres a better chance for the rest of us to get it.

Just to be safe I think we should all start going after the tickets at 9am, some sites say 9.30am but with a half hour difference, dare you risk it?

Clearly it's going to be an event that's going to be full of hardcore fans (and some obligatory London ligger types). Should be a very special evening anyhow, let's try and give them a response to remember

Drownedinsound writes: "tickets are limited to just two per person and go on sale at 9am tomorrow". So not 9.30am? Flashback to Grand Rex ticket sales, eheh.

The earlier the better. Don't care about the price either; paid £68 for Reading Festival tickets just to see pumpkins, so £37.50 is a bargain.
