So, despite Most Akward Concert Ending Ever, that was one hell of a show!

Just got another text, he played worlds fair, then his brother and resistance pro came out and sang of a broken heart. That's how it ended.

For a career retrospective show, not a single nod to the Gish era/beginning of his career.

That version of purr snikety would've been great if Jeff hadn't taken a giant shit all over it. Sheesh.

Just left the show. It was amazing! Several standing ovations. He should have ended it at Ave Adore. The last 2-3 songs with the backup singers were awkward. Then when the wrestlers came out thousands of people were cringing in unison. He plays an acoustic ballad with 150 wrestlers on stage? Weird.

Galapogos was a highlight. Bill's voice was really great. Matt Walker was totally unnessaasary. The new songs was rough. Basically a 5 minute noodle fest by Bill with Shredder jamming on bass. Bill was in great spirits. Definitely losing weight. He seemed really blown away by the audience support.

Lastly, that venue is amazing. The crowd was great. Didn't see the usual SP crowd. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

There was another acoustic song before Lonely, I didn't recognize it. It could have been a Chicago song that I didn't remember.

World's Fair was completely unrecognizable. He had those Siddartha synthesizer things sitting there blinking the whole night and that, of all songs, was the only time they were used. Everyone was pretty WTF for the most part.

There was a song called Burnt Orange Black with Ex-Cops. Might have been their song. There was another song the Ex-Cops chick sang that had Billy's name in it (I think?).

Not really an epic/monumental set list as the hype would have you believe/anticipated .

Today, Disarm, 1979. You gotta please the crowd, eh...well, it was the only show this year.

How about playing Set the Ray to Jerry with Matt on drums...

I hate to say it but I was thinking this too. Wasn't this hyped as a non hits show? The only one of a kind aspect was the variety of the non single material.

Did he use the modular synth, or was it just there for show?
