also fuck yeah what an episode. i watched the leak when it came out cause i couldn't help myself but i only REALLY enjoyed it today with the 1080p rip and the level of audio/video GoT deserves!

my heart fucking cracked and bled salty tears when he got the dragon but man what a badass shot and sequence.

next week is gonna be a sad panda week i'll tell you hwat.

i'm too infatuated with this show right now to make a big tehbolldeal about it, but i'm just gonna put it out there - even though this week's episode was intense and fun to watch, it felt like it had lots of plot holes, stretches, and some cop outs. you know what i'm talking about. pretty bad writing if we're being totally honest.

I've been happy to slag off GoT writing in recent times, but honestly S7 has been so captivating I don't really care anymore. E6 was enthralling, I don't care how long it takes Gendry to run back to Eastwatch or whatever.

It's not entirely D+D's fault, anyway. They didn't sign up to write the ending themselves.

I quite liked it for all its whimsical, slice of life meandering.

It was a lot of the subtle stuff that I enjoyed most, such as the muted portrayals of pretension in overheard conversations that were super accurate and delivered without clear judgment. The Laura character also felt like a direct caricature of a person I know and I liked how real people were still visible through Jarmusch's exaggeration.

A while back, I was actually a good two paragraphs in on a post about Raw in your thread before my computer decided to completely shit the bed. My view of it was pretty similar to yours. When are we getting the next review?

This latest iteration was probably his best take on GSA.

just checking the new avatar...killer. I haven't checked any of this series out yet, but will binge watch it at some point.

seeing that one clip with the girl who (i was told by a friend who gave a synopsis of the whole thing) raised those dragons from birth or something and she says "DRACARYS~~~" and it's like, "whoa, that's cool." i gotta check this show out. I hear longtime fans of the books were literally waiting decades for this part of the story to unfold. is that so?
