Question:
Say I get a flac level 4. If I decode it to wav, then re-encode it to flac 8, does that compromise quality? |

Hadn't tried it, just asking.
I really need to get more ram so I can get XP on my computer and actually use Foobar. Don't ever give away ram to your cheap-ass brother because you don't think you'll need it. |

Wanted to add this in:
How to Split Up a Wav into Separate Tracks (and still have them play seamlessly.) (Thanks to Bramalam) Quote:
That's the link to download CD Wave Editor. It's about 600K to download... won't change any file associations, and is pretty darn simple, especially if you're intimidated by Cool Edit (which, by the way, despite offering "Split on Blocks" in the help menu, does not, in fact, offer this option, in Cool Edit Pro 2.1) Open the wav file. Then go the Split menu, then select Auto Split. Then Click OK. |

My VLC has issues playing SHN. I'm not quite as happy with it as I was... but still pretty darn happy with it.

OK, post # 5 -- and then I'll be able to post a new thread. Any of these tracks available in Torrent?:
1) My Dahlia/ 2) Sun (Halo Records Compilation, 1988) 3) I Am One/ 4) Not Worth Asking (Original Single, 1989) 5) Tristessa/ 6) La Dolly Vita/ 7) HoneySpider (Original Sub Pop Single, 1990) 8) Jackie Blue (Pravda CD/LP Compilation, 1991) 9) Daughter (Reflex Magazine Flexi, 1992) 10) Drown ("Singles" OST CD, 1992) 11) Terrapin/ 12) Bullet Train To Osaka (B-sides of 10" single "I Am One", 1992) 13) Glynis ("No Alternative", Arista CD, 1993) 14) Infinite Sadness ("Mellon Collie..." Vinyl LP, 1995) I guess I'll have to read through this thread to find out. I am brand new here, and looking to score all these tracks, and have tons of music to trade. Any inquiries to me through PM or to my email ([email protected]) will be addressed, thanks! JerseyJoker |

Two things
Can anyone please help me find the Smashing Pumpkins Vancouver 1997 show they broadcast on the radio? I have been trying to find it forever. I am also looking for the Ransom soundtrack with 6 songs that Billy produced for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regardin flac, are there any good flac players for Android? I've been using one of the market but not happy with it. Do you guys know any good player?

the links http://dessent.net/btfaq/ and http://thor.prohosting.com/roh0205/ are defunct.
One good hint for mac users: I like the small handy program Vox to listen to flac files directly. It also has export abilities (WAV, AIFF, Apple Lossless). Might be handy if you wanna pre-listen before making a lossy version. |
