yeah well hmm... i believed that if a girl starts calling me to talk for hours at a time, when we finally set up to go out some place together, if at the time she suddenly is nowhere to be found, i deserve some explanation or apology. i don't think it's false entitlement.

If they ghosted you they clearly aren't worth you stressing over it. In fact, you constantly trying to contact them will only reinforce their notion that they did the right thing.
There's no explanation or answer they can give you that will satisfy you or provide closure, so the sooner you accept it and move on the better for everyone involved.

Girls are complicated three dimensional humans too. Sometimes girls feel like talking for hours and then later they forget that they were supposed to meet someone, and then they feel awful and afraid of the reaction the other person might express towards them, as a punishment for forgetting (this is particularly true of girls who have been abused) so then they avoid the situation, by distracting themselves until they pass out from exhaustion. Sometimes it’s that.

Just to clarify, I wasn't saying that it's actually creepy to get ahold of somebody after they did something to you that begs justification, or trying to call you creepy. I was just saying I would feel creepy if I did that, mostly because I know the situation could be framed that way, and I've always had a problem asserting and exercising even reasonable behaviours of holding others to account without feeling bad about it.
