Yeah man, they are all over the US right now. Google their official website, and all the tour dates are there. They're like Japanese Devo or something. I love them to death.

Saw Mogwai yesterday. FUCK, they were absolutely fantastic.
But so loud that the ringing in my ears is killing me - the venue was all out of earplugs. :/

Apparently they Edinburgh show wasn't that amazing anyway. The album preview in Glasgow earlier this year was ace though.

I would just like to mention that this was hands down one of the best shows I have seen this year and probably in my top ten overall. His voice sounded great, there were backup singers and dancers, and he played a bunch of Talking Heads songs. It was just visually pretty unique and I have never seen anything quite like it. I was going to make a thread but without pictures / video I really can't do it justice. I will just say it was pretty great and leave at that.

Also, in addition to Neil Young next Friday (12/12) I am now seeing Bon Iver and The Tallest Man on Earth on the following Monday (12/15). I am way more excited to see the opener but the price is so cheap I suppose I should not complain.

The Thermals are so much fun live. I don't know what configuration they are playing in now. The first time I saw them they came with a second guitarist who had a broken leg and looked to be in terrible pain all night. The second time I saw them it was just the three of them. And I heard they recently fired the drummer.

Tonight I am seeing Nada Surf.

not too sure, i've seen them for 4 times already, but all in the old/first album line-up, 3 piece.
