Tonight- Low
7/23 Fleet Foxes
7/24 De La Soul/the cool kids
7/30 the Faint
8/14 Clap your hands say Yeah!
8/21 Broken Social Scene
8/29 The GZA

No way I can hit all those financially speaking... I gotta narrow it down some, although the De la Soul show is free...

They're fantastic. I would go to one of their shows before most.

I was kind of feeling that way but the alcohol helped. So many of their songs sound the same, I genuinely like a few of them but overall it really didn't turn me on much. The bass and drum playing was especially boring, nearly the same with every song they played.

I know, but just remembering how tired I was last year by the end of the day I would probably get to the venue and want to leave an hour later. Were you considering going to any of them?

I went to Thao with The Get Down Stay Down tonight at a place in Portland called the holocene (pronounced hollow scene). I'm not sure if I can recommend them, for one the show was really pretty short, I don't think they have a lot of material. Also the music did prove they have their own style, but it was pretty similar throughout. Thao was rocking out pretty hard though and was friendly.

The crowd was just fuckin' ridiculous though, 90% hipster kids who were offended at the idea of moving their bodies. I mean I don't move around that much, but they were intentionally standing a still as possible, fuck people like that.
