Quite honestly, If Billy was some Hillary nut-job I think I would have jumped ship years ago.

I grew up the most hard-core Green Day fan one could be. Once they started putting out crappy music I kind of stuck around, liked a song here and there, would have fun at a gig. When they mindlessly bashed George W I could get behind it but now they've jumped on the mindless hating Trump bandwagon and I'm done with em. I still respect the old stuff, but they're just not for me anymore.

For me being an SP fan in this day and age I still respect and share a lot of the views that Corgan speaks out against. Even if the music ain't so great, I'm still rooting for the guy.

It makes a big difference.
