Default new queens of the stone age track leaks

http://www.sendspace.com/file/lo57bg

it's called era vulgaris. it's not on the tracklisting, so i'm guessing it's a b-side. it's definitely new and it's pretty good, though the first couple of clips have gotten me more excited. cool chorus. apparently trent reznor is on this track, not that i noticed it much because im not a big NIN fan as it is. on the CD that was sent as a "package" from queens to specific fans, it's called "you know what you did", but the actual title is era vulgaris. it was sent in order to be leaked to the fans.

Pitchfork: How is that going to come out?

JH: It's going to come out in other ways. Yeah, it's just going to come out in other ways.

this is kinda cool. Very R. They've sorta gotten back to the queens swagger which makes me like them so much. i look forward to this album.

the verses and bridge are good, but the chorus just sounds kinda meandering to me

yup.

for some reason i get the two confused, and credence sticks out in my head solely because of the big lebowski.

what was the second song they played on the show? i guess the repeats dont show the second song.

i loved seeing the new stuff live, but to be honest seeing any rated R or songs for the deaf material probably topped it a bit. it was cool when they played a long slow goodbye, it felt like everyone had a lighter and was swaying it in the air. not to mention the constant smell of pot. alain also did a really nifty guitar solo thing before transitioning into the song, it was really cool.

i was afraid they wouldnt play the title track because i believe nick did the quiet little "can go get fucked" part on the record. but they played it, and the place went fucking insane. i love that song. josh sang that part.

i love the little bridge with the pull offs that josh of course pulled off flawlessly and through his own awesomeness into. he's really a brilliant, brilliant guitarist.

man i love this band, im so excited for the new record.

but i loved songs for the deaf, it's probably my favorite album of the decade.

they played In My Head on SNL as the second song, which was lame because that song sucks

i wish they would quit rerecording desert session songs. the context of that they spent so little time on them is what makes them so appealing in the first place

queens were always pretty cool live and i like their cds, but my liking for them remains more on surface-level, i guess. i never really got super obsessed or really into them. i dig their albums (especially rated R, the self-titled...and even songs for the Deaf if i don't overkill it) and I have seen them like 5 times...though always in an openeing slot or before a band i want to see more.

so i have no real complaints. i'm just not very captivated, either.
