definitely do all three, they're all very closely related, obviously I want to gather as much information as possible for my sleep typology

It's eight years until my younger son is finished at high school. So yeah...nearing it I guess. And you know, I'll be devastated when they leave. I mean overjoyed for them and me, but also totally heartbroken. I do love them.

stupid bodies not being correct. I have stupidly large feet for my height, so I get it. I should fit ordinary sized shoes for women but no, I don't, because I am broken. we are the broken people

i could definitely sleep more if i didn't insist on staying up til 11ish for some desperately needed alone time, but i still get close to what is recommended 75% of the time. i get woken up anytime between 5:30 and 7:30, so usually between 6.5 and 8.5 hours, most days at least 7-7.5 hours, though i seem to function fine like this. i'm still mentally recovering from the unbelievable sleep deprivation of having a newborn, so anything over 4 hours feels like the most refreshing rest imaginable. i LOVE our new sleep schedule, honestly.

But seriously I normally sleep around 8-9hrs. And 5-6 hours on early work days. I'm a pretty solid sleeper, my trick is to block out all light in my bedroom, I use towels to cover any cracks in the blinds and I have a small fan going, it sits approximately 2 metres away from where I sleep (facing the other way) for a bit of white noise to block out bumps in the night..

for some reason i went on a kenny vs spenny binge a while ago. went from never even hearing of it to watching the entire thing in like a week.

kenny is such a lovable psychopath and he gets worse and worse and fucking worse

It really shocks me how old this show is now, in fact I remember recording the first series on vhs back in like 2005. Even though I loved Kenny I was always rooting for a Spenny victory, the poor guy gets so happy when he wins.

Also, did I by chance happen to introduce you to KvS back in 2016 reprise?

this show kinda give me some other insights mostly unrelated to entertainment. like, everyone loves kenny and wants him to win. the problem is not that he cheats, because who cares. it is how he cheats and just how far he will go with it, and how much he genuinely seems to like torturing spenny.

spenny is not really a good guy either, he does plenty of questionable things and seems to have low moral intelligence (just doesn't cheat because "it isn't right" than because of real principles). but kenny is legit a psychopath or at least plays one on TV. and yet, everyone loves him. including me.

also completely insane how they go from actual friends to fucking hating each other, you can see their relationship disintegrating as the series goes on.

oh sorry.

yes so i got orthotics to treat my foot pain. they were causing me terrible pain themselves but i figured some pain was normal. i wore them 1 hr first day, then 2, then 4. sunday i was supposed to wear them for 8 hours but couldnt keep doing it after 4. then i realized that this all couldn't be normal.

yesterday i woke up in 8/10 pain couldnt walk on my leg wanted to die. my knee is fucked up. my feet are back to normal (they didnt cause me pain except for a specific spot after working) but my leg, man.

have you seen a doctor or a specialist? i mean if it's going on a week now, maybe you should see somebody. 8/10 pain sounds bad.

i have to do a little walking today to get to a different doctor appointment so i'll see how it feels. if it's really hard to move i'll go to a walk in (lol) clinic tonight or tomorrow and skip work tomorrow. but i think once i walk on it a bit it'll be ok. but i stand at work all day so that might not be possible tomorrow. it's about 50% better than yesterday i'd say.

about to take a shower so we'll see how that goes...

6 on average during the work week. 7-8 on the weekends, or at least I try. I have a tough time deprogramming on Saturday morning when it's 6:00 am and my body is expecting to be awake because routine.

Yo get yourself a fitbit. It measures your sleep stages and cycles. Very interesting/helpful.

Last week I got an average of 7 hrs and 29 minutes sleep. You sleep less as you get older apparently, and need less.
