i have an ex-husband! that's at least a half enemy

i also screwed a lot of people over (it was mostly mutual). i wouldn't call them enemies but there are a fair amount of people that rightfully want nothing to do with me.

Yes! Well, three. Pretzel M&Ms, Hershey Gold, and White Chocolate Twix. Fuck regular flavors.

Just insects. Violence against anything excluding insects seriously upsets me. I've never even shot a gun and get nervous around them instantly.

I didn't shake with either of mine, but I was on a huge happy high for a couple of days...then I crashed into the baby blues, both times.

Did you find it weird, when your milk came in?
Do you feel comfortable with the idea of living far away from your parents right now?
Is there anywhere you wish you could move to, to live and raise your kid?
What do you think of worldschooling, where kids are homeschooled and the family moves every year/couple of years, to different spots around the world?

My milk never really came in, despite relentless pumping. And since baby planets was just over 5 pounds, I couldn't wait and had to feed her formula. Fed baby is best baby!

I would love to live away from my parents right now, I hadn't lived with them for almost 10 years and there's a lot of privacy I wish I still had. But it probably isn't the best time to have zero support system, especially with the divorce just weeks from being finalized and certain specific parental difficulties.

I feel like the house/people make the home so I don't have one particular location I'd want to raise my family in. I've moved a lot and it didn't sit well with me, but as long as there's love I think most things can be overcome. I take being a good mother seriously and hope that will empower her with enough strength to go anywhere.

I could never afford world schooling, right now at least. Traveling is something I unfortunately missed out on in my 20s, but I think adulthood are the years it's more appreciated. I only moved around the US as a kid, but I still didn't enjoy the feeling of being uprooted and sometimes found it hard to make/keep friends. And now I don't have a stable group of friends, but that probably has more to do with my newfound sobriety. I think traveling should be something you want to do, or else you'll resent it. My mom had to move for my dad's job throughout their married life, and now she's miserable when she sees her extended family still connected back in her home state. In terms of the home schooling part, as much as I hate public school, I think the socialization aspect is crucial. Plus there's no way I could teach math beyond elementary school. But world schooling definitely sounds like a unique experience! I just want my kid to be happy, and if that seems to be what she would need in life, then I'd do my best to make it happen. You know how it goes.
