I think these will get shot down immediately, but I haven't seen people mention:
- Echo and the Bunnymen - R.E.M. - Siouxsie and the Banshees - Jesus and Mary Chain - Bauhaus - Sisters of Mercy - Queen - Thin Lizzy - Pink Floyd - New Order - The Clash |

there's no way fuzzy likes the smiths or probably the cure for that matter. Unless we don't pay attention to him which means Bowie was still the better choice.
The thing is there's a lot of bands i'm not too crazy about but that i don't mind so much either. Pixies is kinda like that. I don't own one record (but have tried their whole discog at some point, well the early stuff) but there's at least half of dozen songs they have i think are alright too. So i wouldn't object either. Fuzzy i think DOES like the pixies though...so...i suppose that might have to be the one if we count him. |

I can hear emotion in Billy's screeching. I only hear screeching out of Plant.

The guitar fuzz in SP makes up for it anyway. Nothing in LZ music takes me anywhere

I like the emotion and sincerity in Billy's voice, it was never about it being technically good.
It became complete shit when he tried to make his voice technically good |

A statement of just "better" doesn't make sense in music. What's good to you is not good to me.
Better how? |

I generally don't care much for most rock pre punk era to be honest. With some exceptions. But in general. The further rock moved away from blues the better to me. |
