Default Machina Era TV performances.

I am trying to put together a chronology of the Machina Era TV performances.

2000-01-30 – Politically Incorrect.

2000-03-09 – Total Request Live

2000-03-10 – MusiquePlus

2000-04-26 – Late Show with David Letterman

2000-08-24 – VH1 Storytellers

2000-11-17 – The Tonight Show

Am I missing any?

I'm so glad I of the Mourning was one of their go-to plays. Fucking song kills.

The solo, the drumming, the intensity never got old or stale with this one. Beautiful on the album and hard hitting no bullshit live.

Kind of beautiful it was left in 2000.

Was this tour a completely no Strat affair?

This is where the guitars got too muddy.

pretty sure. he even played a jaguar for a solo...raindrops, i think, in one of the new bootlegs

they're muddy but it works when the songs are written for it. when they're just playing straight up old arrangements, it's shitty [cherub, mayo]. something like tonight which they slightly reworked for the tone sounds amazing

They pulled it out in 2008 and couple of times in 2013

Neither have that 2000 blistering intensity or mad drumming

There's only a few songs where they go over the bridge. When you know it's coming it's so intense.

This and Bleeding The Orchid are great examples. It's just that extension of the song that puts the entire band and experience on another level.

i love machina

I remember buying it on the day it was released with rolls of coins when i was a teenager

having said that

it's the beginning of the end for our friend billy, these performances hint at it.

Still Becoming Apart was the best thing about the Machina release, skived off school to get it first thing. Bought Elastica The Menace on the same day, would prefer that got reissued tbh.

Me either on that last one... which is strange. Thought I saw everything Machina era - must have escaped my claws due to that whole European thing. Some stellar Jimmy moments in there - cool camera angle on the shots of him.

very cool JC angle, thanks!

love watching him play on wonky setups instead of his big tour kit. wonder how that works and gets coordinated. snare sounds like cardboard. you can tell by some of his fills he's a bit uncomfortable. mistake at 1:40?
