Actually, he did not merge your thread into the existing YSI thread. I did. As he did already mention, it is much easier to prune the thread and keep it from becoming a huge behemoth than it was before the board was upgraded. There is no reason to have two threads. You can feel free to discuss and recommend new (or old) stuff along with posting a link in the regular YSI thread. If something is really good, feel free to start a thread about it and discuss it until you're blue in the face but we really do not need an entirely new thread to post uploaded album links.

If we have a new stuff thread, why not have a different upload thread for every genre? Or how about an entire thread devoted to every leak? By just having the one thread, it is much easier to find what you are looking for and prevents the forum from being clogged.
