I'm both kinda excited and extremely wary because in general series in the genre suck . I hope the tone will be darker than other marvel stuff. And i don't want some lame Arrow/Agents of SHIELD type shit with vapid hateable actors either. Iron fist and Luke Cage are also supposed to be on the show.

Some years back they were tyring to have a DD film made set in the 70s. Thing is it would have been great for a series, Luke Cage is kinda Blaxploitation and Iron Fist, kung fu movies. And back then hell's kitchen hadn't been gentrified yet so it was still actually dangerous. It makes little sense for DD today to protect Hell's Kitchen.

I also would like him as Black Panther though I guess i'd prefer Chiwetel Ejiofor.... I mean it's bound to happen soon enough. a Black Panther film. Also with Elba, there could be a problem if they ever go so far as mixing Thor stuff with Black panther stuff (he WAS an avengers at some point) because of Heimdall. I hated the first Thor film (seriously one of the worst recent superhero film) but thought he was by far the only redeeming thing in it. The second one was an improvement and they gave him more to do too.

I'm only vaguely aware of him. All I know is doctor strange is not jared leto. That's what happens when you give Oscars to fucks like these. Then they get considered for parts they'd have never been before because they're now a "hot" actor. Leto got an Oscar because played a trans in a serious film. He had a bunch of makeup and acted like any other actor ever did playing that kind of character. Omg it's so brave he's acting like...all gay and shit.
