I have mixed, complex feelings about this record. Which I suppose is better than "It's alright, 3/5".

It’s a 0/10 and I’m not exaggerating. There’s nothing redeeming about it and it is unlistenable

Both of these takes are true.

Purple Blood and SYT alone put it above a 0/10 for me. But you have to basically throw yourself into it to get anything back, and given the thousands of other artists you could be listening to, this is a wretched album. But in other ways it's his best SP album since Zeitgeist. Complex feelings.

0/10 is unfair.

There's nothing really wrong with it. It sounds great. The songs are all good to great (I don't care for Haunted).

It just doesn't have the variety or sense of adventure to justify its existence as the new double album by The Smashing Pumpkins.

Every song is the same and has the same unlistenable vocals. They’re all throwaway 3 minute tracks.

In my opinion - and I'd like to stress that this is just my opinion and everyone is free to have their own opinion and they are just as valid as my opinion..

I think (and again I'm completely willing to accept that I might be wrong on this.. but what does wrong even mean?? who can even say what is right and what is wrong??) that 0/10 isn't fair but again that's just my subjective opinion and maybe Ninsp is right but then again it's only his opinion so who really knows. Cyr is, I imagine, like having sex with someone who's 11/10 extremely attractive but doesn't like you and just kinda lays there. Also their voice is a bit too loud.

It's not because it was too long, all sounded the same, was boring, lacking colorur, difficult to listen to vocally, and didn't sound like a band at all. Not for Billy.
