He also met with two critical players in Charlottesville in the run up to August 12th. Trump said nothing wrong in his press-conference. He simply said that both sides were responsible for the violence, which is absolutely true. The far-left showed up with shields, helmets, baseball bats and signs promoting violence.

The main protest was for people opposing the removal of the Robert E Lee statue.

I've been watching quite a bit of news today and CNN repeatedly refer to the nazi guy on Vice news as the "alt-right"... Which is absolute bullshit. The alt-right are people who get their news from sites like Breitbart and Info-Wars... But since those sites are exploding with popularity, the mainstream media is trying to hammer home the term alt-right with being synonymous with the racists.

Absolute bull-shit, I'm frankly glad that Trump is still telling it as it is. It would be easy for him to act like a political stooge, but he's still acting with total honesty. I was frankly proud of Donald Trump after that press-conference.

Not everyone protesting was a Nazi or a racist. Just as every counter-protester wasn't there to act violently.
