The melody in Strength is really good, and it's got a great flow as a track, but a big part of what makes SiN so great is that Billy's voice isn't forced out front.

The o-board went nuts, and pretty much wanted Monte's head on a pike, which said something considering that was the last SP related entity that ever defended him. Monte offered to do a meetup on Google + to discuss everything, which just pissed people off more who felt like he was trying to avoid talking to the o-board.

Eventually, Monte had the meeting and - true to Monte's character - he more or less blamed it all on Billy (the "I just followed directions" excuse). People who were involved with it all actually told me Billy got a little pissed off at Monte, and that was when Monte's free reign over SP's online presence was restricted a bit. Notice that since then (which, if I remember correctly was around mid to late 2013) Monte has not gotten nearly as many exclusives from Billy, and toned down his whole "I'm the band's mouthpiece" shtick.

only vaguely remember that survey story, the survey was totally botched (and besides Monte some better educated people in Lucky13 said as much ahead but were ignored) and therefor the results shouldn't have been taken seriously, but they were.

Result Corgan saying "fans don't want to pay enough so toodles" or something along those lines.
From what I heard from other Lucky13ers that thing was generally a monte-ship, logically headed to hit the bottom despite effort from others and the original interest to really make it work.

This is a side rant, but they really need to start doing something about totally abandoned social media accounts on the web. It's always been annoying and an issue but now with the ease of creating social media accounts the amount of abandoned marketing shit has increased exponentially.

My Facebook recommended pages feed is just full of abandoned shit. Yesterday it recommended a local music festival to me that was only held once 4 years ago. I poked around and it was just a sea of page after page created by some now long gone local promoter hyping bands and shows.

Page after page of bars with endless shitty flyers that no one has ever looked at.
