Thumbs up bands like gomez, south, ...

...Doves, Mogwai, or Tetra Splendour from among the brilliant indie bands make the UK, from the point if view of musical artism, one of the most accomplished nationalities on Earth, don't you think?
i mean, come on, these bands are so unbelievably underrated that it makes me cry

believe it or not some people find them heavy handed.

I'll listen to mogwai if i'm in the mood, but if I want long, experimental jammy stuff, I'll probably just throw on some 70s miles davis or some stoner doom

Gomez are really underrated. I saw them live and it was really impressing. I've seen them 3 times since then. Mogwai dissapointed me live but I heard it wasn't the best show.

They are fucking badass, and I would love to catch them live, but I like other bands in the Genre alot more.

I love that shit so much. Stoner/Doom/Sludge/Drone/Space is by FAR the most underrated and underappreciated genre.

oh, they broke up recently. the only reason I asked is because they're a stoner doom band from Eugene.

I saw them twice I think? The first time was at a regular venue, Mark had just introduced me to their music and it was an awesome show...the second time I saw them was at Loyola University in their gym and they were opening for Cake. Most of the kids looked bored until they started getting the crowd pumped - they really know what they're doing.

(this is krazee btw)
