i disagree with nightmare and i think pug is a pretty good song, i would listen to those on their own but the rest you mentioned are ones i rarely if ever have played without fully listening to the album

But hell if there isn't a lot of filler on that record: Tear, Crestfallen, Apples and Oranjes, Pistol Pete, Annie-Dog are all pretty bland and bloated.

Every adore thread there’s these fights over which are the gems vs skippers (and i get astonished the number imbecile swine ready to abandon annie dog, the hoarse vampiric jewel of the beating cancerred heart of the whole friekin adore

But can some of us at least a few agree that fuggen TEAR is unbearably maudlin and and a slog to get thru

Lyrics are ok, yknow, i mean, i like it but i freikin skip it, almost always

It’s like the HMM of adore for me: immediate skip

Imo, if you took off Daphne Descends, Pug & Pistol Pete (and maybe Ava)

And at the very end of the album put in Blissed and Gone (drone version) & Heaven from the box set to close it,

Adore would be my favourite SP album.

I'll admit, out of the 3 Adore songs I would take off, Daphne has grown on me the most, but it's just never clicked with my SP DNA, and I can't, can't explain.

Perfect and once upon a time are the only really boring songs for me. Used to love the hell out of tear but now it comes across as cheesy.

The rest.. every track has atmosphere worthy of listening. BC still had some of those Mellon collie variety tricks up his sleeve. Also Ava adore cant go.. seems like it could have been recorded better (acoustic bridge school debut performance showed so much promise).

It’s still a damn shame lmgtw was left off. Bad move.
