Tours like this usually do good in markets the first time, but then when they return no one cares again.
I've seen countless bands do the reunion jaunt and it's a smashing success and then they come back 2 or 3 years later on a different tour and it's like a half-full downsized venue with little fan enthusiasm. So there really is no longevity in a game plan like this. Only works as a 1 and done deal. |
