That would be Zeitgeist, the song.

"What, you thought you got the version of Zeitgeist with "Zeitgeist" on it? No, you want the special edition for that."

Zeitgeist will burn the files off your soulseek.

Bleeding The Orchid is one of the least offensive songs on Zeitgeist. Take that to mean what you will.

I'd say one of the more offensive songs is "Despite Only Comprising 13%," featuring guest vocals by Alex Jones.

I agree. Bleeding the Orchid is by far the best song on Zeitgeist and probably up to the same standard as many SP1 songs. I would also rate it in top 3 SP2 songs. Shame they didnít release it as a single.

yeah production hurt Pomp way more than it did Orchid

I can do with the "Billy Choir" when it's surrounded by sweet guitars & pounding Chambo drums - but when that's made to be the core of the fucking song? Check please!

I have a cool story for you. I realized recently that I didn't have a copy of Zeitgeist so got a brand new sealed silver copy from ebay for like £2.. which is nuts. How badly did this thing bomb ?

I think it's a pretty good album. Up to and including Death from Above it's a good and cohesive album. After that it falls apart a bit..there's still some good songs but it has zero flow. It's a lot better than everything that came after it. Almost SP1 quality.

Anyway ladies & gents, I urge you to revisit Zeitgeist. Do it right now. Listen to the whole thing. I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

are you insinuating that an Arby's worker is above the powers of the superchrist? not to mention his trusty sidekick, the... drumchrist

great zeitgeist songs:
[empty]

good zeitgeist songs:
bleeding the orchid
starz
tarantula
neverlost
pomp
stellar
ma belle
zetgeist
death from above

almost good songs:
united states
that's the way

failures:
god and country - i kinda like it but the lyrics completely ruin it. and that says a lot for a corgan song
bring the light - a guitar solo is not a song
come on let's go
seven shades of black

those last two are not like oh my god terrible but they have no meat at all

favorite song is death from above and yes i will fight you about it when you say it's the worst song ever. there are a few who understand, though. #teamdeathfromabove

c'mon we're due a ratings thread aren't we?

we had a listening party a few months ago and i like the album a lot more than i used to. it's still like a C+ album but ya know. once in a while i'll go ham on some work while having it on in the background. it's that kinda record. very little emotional pull. stellar and pomp only. i bet it would be decent while running
