my bff and i asked a bartender if 6 shots of patron was too much for a person. he said yes. and we asked for 4...2 each.

this was after we had had a few already. didn't end up in jail, though. just wasting my monies.

i feel mostly embarrassed about stories like that, though, cause i'm not and don't want to be that person anymore or ever again.

some people almost seem to think stories like that are a badge of honor. i get owning up to your shit, but it's nothing to proud of.

hot take: Loveless is not as good as Siamese Dream.

ultimately Loveless has more indie cred and is a more esoteric album, but SD displays much higher musicianship, complexity, diversity, and songwriting

i agree. the guitar sound is really fucking cool on loveless, and it's very interesting trying to decipher the lyrics and meanings, but overall SD is better. drumming is obviously incredible, guitar sound is focused and dynamic, lyrics and emotions come across crystal clear.

LOVELESS is flawless. It is up there with Kid A and Holy Mountain.

SD has Today which is pretty dull. Spaceboy is awkward. Silverfuck wallows in itself (Starla is superior).
