Yeah, coke isn't a "fun" drug for me. It's kinda like a more potent caffeine for me. Nobody drinks coffee because they are partying, they drink it because they wanna stay awake/alert.

I guess they also drink it because they like the taste. That makes it different from coke, because I don't know how delicious something that numbs your tongue can be.

Yeah, I see a few similarities between your pursuits getting out there and meeting people and mine. And Ram's tendency to latch on the certain people reminds me of a tendency I had when I was less social, though for me, it was purely mental and I never acted according to this tendency.

When somebody tells me I'm overthinking something, my default response is just to think more about it, but think about the ways that my previous thoughts may have been too assumptive or excluded some possibilities.

I don't know how to just not think. Like, make my response to "you're overthinking it" be "okay" and shutting down my brain, preventing any further thoughts.
